Fightin' with the neighbors, Screwin the wife. Hip hop music ruined my life.

So I decided to take up a new hobby which could potentially make me some money (fingers crossed).
Picked up some jewelry supplies and started making home made beads out of old magazine ads. The ending products look something like this:

The long spinny beads are made out of paper that I rolled myself. Pretty sweet. Also been making a lot of hemp bracelets. Im turning into a hippie-OH GOD. Let me know if you like?

Drawings soon.

  5. @Everyone-Basically you cut out the magazine in these two inch thick weird triangles. Then you wrap it a certain way around a toothpick or a Qtip, glue it, and then take it off and put some type of varnish on it. In this case Im using a nail polish top coat. They look like little glass beads all sitting together. It's super easy once you learn how.

  7. These could sell really well. If you have nowhere to sell to, use Etsy or something. But like, hotel shops. I'd try hotel shops. And you need to know how many you can make in batches, what your profit would be, what % you add if they pay at 30 days (so that they pay less if they pay you up front, instant gratification)

My Mom's an artisan, I help with marketing. Know this stuff.

Also, I personally dig the first two, the way they look is like weird shell things.

  8. awesome :D if you do end up selling them i'll buy one, as long as they aren't super expensive

turning in to a hippie isn't necessarily a bad thing, just don't start living in a park or anything stereotypical
